Your Trade Value

Can I really get up to $3,000 more for my trade in? What is my car worth?

Please don't let the dealership give you substantially less for your trade in than it is actually worth. Dealerships love to take in trades, here is why. The dealership appraises your trade in value, this is called the Actual Cash Value or "ACV," which is what the dealer will really pay for your vehicle. Unfortunately that is not what the dealer is going to try and give you for your trade.

Here is an example:

Let's say your cars true Actual Cash Value is $10,000. Some dealers will try and tell you your vehicle is only worth $7,000. They will give you a bunch of reasons why so they can justify giving you less than what you thought it was worth. The dealer just made $3,000 more on you than they should have. This is were we come in. We will let you know what your vehicles Actual Cash Value is so you don't get taken.

Does previous damage hurt the trade in value of my car?

Maybe, but not necessarily.. Let us know the extent of the damage and we will let you know how much (if any) it diminishes the trade in value of your car. Knowing this can save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars

Should I sell my car on my own?

This is a popular question and might be to your benefit. We will do the research to see if there will be a substancial advantage to selling your car on your own. If you decide to do so we will also advise you on how to market and sell it yourself for maximum trade in value.
